Social Media Internship

 In this position, you will be expected to share your knowledge of social media and collaborate with multiple people on our team. While unpaid, college credit can be awarded if enrolled in university/college. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Interns are expected to understand Necessary Behavior's Media brand personality. Brainstorm and create new content for our accounts in areas such as social justice, resources, world events, and pop culture. Brainstorming can be done by staying up to date on trending TikTok/IG Reels sounds and coming up with video ideas using those sounds. Continuing your own research is necessary in order to further any media-related knowledge. Communicating with other team members along with collaborating with other social justice-focused businesses is important to NB. Interns should also assist in creating content calendars. Most importantly, making your own schedule and including deadlines will help with completing all of the above.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficient Google Drive skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision

  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

  • A strong interest in social media
