Editorial Internship

In this position, you will be expected to share your knowledge of writing, editing, and sharing your knowledge with everyone in and out of our network. While unpaid, college credit can be awarded if enrolled in university/college. 

Intern Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create weekly articles on current events and the impact they have on society
  • Peer edit articles related to social justice
  • Appear in our social media through takeovers, posts, articles, videos, and stories
  • Collaborate with other businesses that focus on social justice
  • Attend trainings and meetings based on work-related affairs
  • Update and post social media and website content; respond to web correspondence and social media posts
  • Create own schedule, including deadlines

Intern Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficient Google Drive skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
